OAMC x DANIEL JOHNSTON
OAMC has developed a six piece collection featuring Daniel Johnston’s artworks. The range includes a padded coach jacket and a bomber jacket in nylon gabardine, a reworked vintage U.S. military surplus M-65 liner, crewneck and hooded sweatshirts in Italian cotton fleece and a short sleeved t-shirt.
Daniel Johnston’s Jeremiah the Innocent and “Hi, How Are You?” wool embroidery is decorating the liner, crewneck and hoodie, while other artworks from Daniel Johnston’s notebook are printed on special resin-coated cotton patches or directly on the garments.
Part of the proceeds from the sales will be donated to the “Hi, How Are You” project, a nonprofit organization inspiring new conversations around mental health issues by funding and creating thoughtful media content, projects and events. The foundation, created with the support of Daniel Johnston and family, provides a platform for the exchange of ideas and education on mental well-being.
